Vision Landscapes
30 Years of Vision
Updated: Nov 19, 2019

On July 5, 1988 Vision Landscape and Design served its first customer and this month
marks 30 years of continued service to Monmouth County. Vision Landscape and Design is a boutique landscaping company that provides personalized and innovative concepts to the area.
Founded with a specific vision in mind, the owner Alain Belilty has stayed committed to the
service, ideas, and craftsmanship he set out with 30 years ago.
Born in Paris, France in 1962, Alain spent much of his childhood traveling with his
parents and was exposed to different design elements from a variety of cultures and places.
Eventually he and his family moved to Israel, where he would enroll in an agricultural school.
After high school, he served in the military and once discharged, decided to continue his cultural exploration on his own. After spending some time venturing around Europe and Latin America, he reached New York City in 1986. He wanted to stay in the US, and envisioned a business that would allow him to do so. In 1988, Vision Landscape and Design was established and Alain began to lay roots in the area with his wife Bonnie, children Sydney and Davis and his little Pug Ricco.
Vision Landscape and Design was created with the intention of giving their clients a
personalized design experience as well as the physical implementation of the project. As Alain proudly says, “I have always felt passionate about serving my customers over these years. Their exquisite taste coupled with my design skills have allowed us to create some truly brilliant spaces. They are timeless creations that have been used for generations and I am proud that these homeowners can get more joy out of them”.
Vision has evolved significantly throughout the years, offering different services and
specialties as the business has gained experience. Today, they offer services such as complete landscape design and implementation, hardscape such as walks, patios, outdoor kitchens, other various stone work, and even ornamental iron. Alain has incorporated different design elements that reflect his cultural exposure into the gardens. One of his most notable accomplishments was designing and including custom wrought iron into the properties he works on.
Alain has always believed that colors, shapes, textures, and patterns are the four key
elements to an outdoor space and has adapted his work to fulfill these four elements in creative
and innovative ways.
As a small business, Vision Landscape and Design has built close relationships with its
clients which has enabled the business to give every garden a personal touch. Alain says, “It is most important to listen to what my client wants to create a space that’s tailored to their vision.
The most important part of the business is our relationships with our clients. As a garden
evolves over long periods of time so have our relationships, and I am grateful for them all.”
Although Vision Landscape and Design has created hundreds of gorgeous outdoor
spaces through the past 30 years, Alain is most proud of the personal connections he has been able to create.
“I find it hard to believe that is has been 30 years. Landscaping is my passion
and I often relax on my free time working in my own yard. I am looking forward to a long and
bright future of serving more customers and thank all who become a part of the Vision
Landscape and Design family.”
